Capitol Reef national park

Capitol Reef is one of the few national Parks that does not offer shuttle service. So this morning cleaned up the RV and left for the park to go hiking. We first did the scenic route and stopped at Gifford Homestead farm, this farm is specialised in fruit pies like apple sherry, peaches etc. This home was build in 1908 by polygamist Calvin Pendleton right in the national park. Today we did our toughest trail hike ever, it was the ''Rim overlook'' a distance of about 5 miles and an elevation killer of 1,560ft. We passed 1000 foot cliffs and it was definitely challenging, this trail was qualified as ''strenuous''. Anthony did find a little surprise under a rock...(see pictures)
